The Janson is an affordable 3 story garden style property owned by LDG development located in Austin, Texas. It holds 328 units ranging from 1-4 bedrooms with various luxury amenities and resident services. Being between the Circuit of The Americas and the Mckinny Falls State Park, The Janson holds a unique juxtaposition that is purely Texas. The property is also named after Dick Janson, a prominent real estate broker in the area that was known for having “a heart the size of Texas”.

Standing out in a saturated market starts with successful branding. The Janson originally pulled strong inspiration from its location and namesake, Dick Janson, with a color palette alluding to the quintessential Texas cowboy, and a logo inspired by the branding iron. The strong brand inspiration led us to building a full brand identity that includes a logo, fonts, and signage to use across the property and across platforms.

For The Janson, we developed a brand that pays tribute to the legacy of Richard “Dick” Janson through thoughtful visual storytelling. Our solution included a bold, Western-inspired logo with a custom branding iron concept, supported by classic serif fonts and signage designs that reflect a vintage Texas aesthetic. The result is a distinctive, heartfelt identity that honors family roots while standing strong in the Southeast Austin market.
